Choose Air Cooling if you have an open airflow configuration (like an electric motorcycle) and want a simpler setup without external auxiliary plumbing. Choose Liquid Cooling if the motor is installed in a restricted, closed space (like an electric car or inboard marine drive) where ambient airflow is insufficient. Note that liquid cooling requires an external water pump system.
